Gingerbread House Competition

Showcase your frosting and decorating skills by participating in our gingerbread house competition with your team!

We'll provide all the necessary ingredients for constructing, icing, and decorating your gingerbread house. You'll have an hour and a half to complete your entry. A panel of guest judges will evaluate team entries, and prizes will be awarded based on appearance, technique, and skill.

Form a team of up to five people and prepare to embrace the holiday spirit while engaging in some friendly competition.

RSVP by November 22 at noon to studentactivities@wvncc.edu with your team member names.

Kits for each team include:

  • Gingerbread house bases, baked and ready for construction, cardboard base
  • Piping bags of royal icing to construct houses and apply decorations.
  • Assorted edible decorations including cookies and candies.
