Why Choose WVNCC's Distance Education?
Our Distance Education Program aims to provide high-quality educational opportunities in a flexible, enjoyable, and convenient format. Whether you prefer learning in real-time (synchronous) or at your own pace (asynchronous), we have options to suit your needs:
- Synchronous Courses: Participate in classes simultaneously with your peers using technologies like IP video and Zoom, accessible through our Learning Management System, Brightspace D2L.
- Asynchronous Courses: Learn at your own pace on your schedule, with course materials available anytime via Brightspace.
- Hybrid/Blended Courses: Students are required to be physically on campus periodically for reasons such as orientations, exams, labs or presentations. These hybrid courses are clearly marked in the semester schedule.
