Admission Requirements LPN Program
- US high school graduate or equivalent (GED/TASC/HiSET). Graduates of a non-US high school must obtain GED/TASC/HiSET.
- Program application form on file and $25 application fee paid.
- Resume submitted to wvnccadmissions@wvncc.edu.
- ATI TEAS test Version 7 results with an adjusted individual composite score of 60 or higher.
- Please submit all scores, including lower than 60 to wvnccadmissions@wvncc.edu.
- Scores must be within 3 years of application date; ATI TEAS test Version 6 accepted if within one year of test date.
- Applicants can test 2 times within 1 year. Those who do not achieve the minimum score in 2 attempts within the same year are ineligible for 1 year.
- 2.5 cumulative college GPA (high school GPA within 3 years if no college GPA is established).
- The following courses are required to be completed prior to entering the LPN program:
- AHS 103, Medical Terminology
- ENG 101, English Composition
- PSYCH 105, Intro to Psychology
- BIO 114 or 220 within the past 3 years of starting the program
- BIO 115 or 225 within the past 3 years of starting the program (this course may be taken during the summer semester while in the program- please contact the program director to verify)
