NM Campus Open House Set
Posted 04/12/13Area high school seniors and their parents are invited to attend an informational session at the New Martinsville campus of West Virginia Northern Community College that will help them with “one of the most important decisions they will ever make.”
Campus Dean Larry Tackett and Counselor Ina Robinson, in discussing this important decision, believe they and others at the New Martinsville campus can make it easier for seniors and their parents to find the right fit for the best higher education option. To that end, they have scheduled the free fact-finding event at the downtown campus for 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in room 110.
“Join us on April 25 and our experts will be available to answer questions about the many programs we offer as well as help you with your financial aid. Just bring your tax forms with you and we can get you started,” Robinson said.
Tackett added, “We know how difficult this decision-making process can be for parents, and we stand ready to assist with good information on opportunities for your child. We also realize parents want the very best for their children, and this support is crucial in students’ attaining an education that will allow them to have a bright future. WVNCC can get them headed in the right direction.”
