Posted 11/12/14The top three finalists’ names for the presidency of West Virginia Northern Community College have been announced and the candidates are scheduled to be on Northern campuses next week.
According to Peggy Carmichael, chief human resources officer for the college, the three finalists are Dr. John Crooks, associate provost of Lorain County Community College in Elyria, Ohio; Dr. Catherine Gatewood-Keim, vice president of academic affairs of Bay College, Escanaba, Mich.; and Dr. Vicki Riley, vice president of academic affairs of West Virginia Northern Community College, Wheeling.

The three candidates will be on Northern’s Wheeling, Weirton and New Martinsville campuses next week to meet with the search committee members, Board of Governors, administrators, state Community and Technical College Council members, faculty, staff, alumni, students and community members.
The candidates’ resumes and visit schedule have been posted on the WVNCC Presidential Search webpage https://www.wvncc.edu/offices-and-services/presidential-search/4592 along with additional information about the search.
