Set in the heart of downtown Wheeling, West Virginia Northern Community College's Wheeling Campus includes five buildings.
The B&O Building, located at the southern end of the business district, originally was the main terminal of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. It contains the administrative offices, counseling, student services, Business Office, Learning Resource Center, classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices, and student and faculty/staff lounges. Students having any questions about college or the Wheeling Campus are encouraged to stop by anytime during normal business hours.
The Education Center is located on Chapline Street adjacent to the B&O Building and houses the culinary arts facility, all allied health laboratories, classrooms, faculty offices, student and faculty/staff lounges, as well as a 5,000-square foot multi-purpose room. It also includes a gym, fitness center and locker rooms, which are available to WVNCC students for free.
The Applied Technology Center is located at the corner of Market and 16th Streets across from the B&O Building. The ATC houses the Advanced Manufacturing Program and the HVAC Program. This building includes state-of-the-art equipment to give students a hands-on experience in these fields.
In 2018, the College, looking to expand the Welding and Petroleum Technology Programs, opened the Industrial Technology Center. Formally the Wesco Building, the ITC is over 20,000-square feet and includes a welding lab, petroleum technology lab, classrooms, a student lounge and more.
