LPN to RN Bridge, A.A.S. Application 2025-2026



  • Non-Refundable Application Fee: $25

    Deadline:  April 1, 2025 at Noon

    Admission Requirements:

    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • 2.5 cumulative college GPA (or 2.5 high school GPA within 3 years if no college GPA is available)
    • Eligible to register for college-level English and Math courses with no supplemental coursework needed. (for questions about eligibility, contact the Action Center advising@wvncc.edu for Multiple Measures Placement options)
    • ATI TEAS test results with an adjusted individual composite score of 58 or higher
    • Applicants must be eligible to register for coursework. (no active holds)
    • An active, unencumbered LPN license
    • Applicants must be prepared to make $200 confirmation deposit with letter of acceptance.

    All application materials must be submitted by NOON on April 1. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

    A completed application includes:

    • Completed LPN to RN application
    • Official transcripts from ALL prior colleges and universities, regardless of age and applicability to the Nursing program on file at the college. Official college transcripts should be sent to registrar@wvncc.edu. Transcripts should arrive sufficiently prior to the deadline to allow at least 10 business days for processing. Official high school transcript indicating date of graduation; or General Education Development (GED) scores; or Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) scores; or High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) scores on file at the college. Official high school/equivalency transcripts should be sent to registrar@wvncc.edu.
    • Official ATI TEAS score transcript. Instructions for submitting scores in the proper format can be found below.

    • Upon successful completion of this application, you will receive an acceptance letter admitting you to the college and an email giving you access to a Brightspace Sandbox for the program to which you are applying. Program acceptance will come from the program director after the application deadline.
    • Once you receive access to the Brightspace Sandbox you will follow all instructions for submitting all requirements.
    • Upload TEAS scores in the proper format in the Brightspace Sandbox. Click here for instructions.
